Social media and opening videography: Lava2 Barbershop

For the opening of a new barbershop, we built a social media presence that brings videography and strategic guidance together. The aim was to turn visibility into real customer demand from day one.

This project grew out of an existing consulting relationship and developed naturally from there. The opening of the barbershop was not just an event but the starting point for its digital positioning. On site, we produced several videos that showcased the craft, the atmosphere and the personality of the team. These were complemented by short opening trailers, deliberately accessible yet high in quality.

Alongside the production, the focus was on sharing know-how. The idea was never to hand over content and move on, but to explain how social media works when it is meant to bring in customers. Structure, recognisability and consistency were at the heart of it. The channel was not supposed to be decorative; it was supposed to convert. That understanding was taught directly using the business's own example.

From SN Advisory's perspective, this project shows how effective early support can be. Setting up social media strategically from the outset avoids costly corrections later and builds trust before reach does. The combination of videography, consulting and immediate execution made the opening not only visible but effective, both online and in the day-to-day running of the business.

„The videos and the advice helped us win customers straight away and define our brand clearly.“
